Join Santa and the Town of Plymouth for the annual tree lighting on Main Street as part of the Christmas in Historic Plymouth Celebration. When the tree lights go on, the race begins. Run through the downtown and along the waterfront for this early evening event to celebrate the start of the holiday season. The race will begin between 6:15 and 6:30 pm.

The race takes place in conjunction with Christmas in Historic Plymouth which includes lots of families, a parade, marching bands and the arrival of Santa to turn on the Christmas lights on the town tree.
The parade, arrival of Santa and tree lighting take place BEFORE the race. The starting line located on Main Street (3A) at the intersection with Brewster Street and Russell Street. Please remember during this time that not everyone is there for the race, there are small children that are just there to see Santa.
