The live race is scheduled for Saturday, August 7 with a 10:30am start. There is no day of registration. All preregistered participants should arrive for check-in between 9:00-10:00am. The race will start promptly at 10:30. The start is at the Bridge Street put-in in Norwell. Finish is at the Washington Street Bridge in Hanover (7.5 miles). Take out is at the Hanover Canoe Launch in Hanover (another 1 mile). Life jackets are required and must be worn throughout the race or you will be disqualified.
This year there will be two ways to race! The virtual race will be held from July 24-August 6. There will be 2 courses to choose from for the virtual race and you can submit your race times from July 24-August 6. Registration will be online only, there will be no day of registration for the live race.
All paddlers are invited to join us after the live race as the fun continues at Luddam’s Ford Park. The party will start at 12:30pm with awards given around 1:30pm. Awards will be given in each category. Click here to read more and register.
