“Celebrate! Messiah and Carol Sing” brings community together for an informal performance of one of the world’s best known choral works, Handel’s Messiah. First performed in Dublin in 1742, it is a favorite with both singers and audiences worldwide. This is a unique, collaborative undertaking among PFC singers, community members, and volunteer soloists & instrumentalists–with the historic 1887 organ, cello, flute–to sing this iconic masterwork, where the audience–led by PFC members–serves as the chorus.
The event includes a sing-along of seasonal favorites. Bring your own score or borrow one of ours. Come to sing or to listen!
