Travel back to Colonial times to try some 18th century fun during the school vacation week on Tuesday, April 18 from 10 to 2 pm at the Alden House Historic Site. Colonial Adventure Camp invites kids 8-13 to experience life long ago with hands-on activities, games, and crafts. Activities include writing with a quill, dipping a tallow candle, spinning wool, cooking over a fire, playing games, archaeology, and more. The program is led by museum educators.
Registration is required as space is limited. Register at director@alden.org.
Fee is $25 per student; $20 for members.
