Connacht: Irish Music Concert (Plymouth)

Connacht is the brainchild of percussionist Michael McDonagh. His father was the leader of the famed Connacht Ceili Band from Boston. Mike has gathered a group of musicians adept at playing sessions, festivals, weddings, corporate events, and pub gigs alike. This is a fresh take on traditional Irish music. The high energy beat combined with soulful songs and accompaniment is sure to delight any audience. Connacht will get you tapping your toes, singing along, and dancing around the room.

Fresh off their first tour in Ireland (Sept 2022) at the Clifden Community Arts Festival, (the longest-running community arts festival in Ireland) where Connacht was touted as the Boston to Connemara Connection.
