Drum Circle with Ed Sorrentino (Duxbury)

We invite you to participate in a one-hour rhythm session facilitated by local percussionist Ed Sorrentino, Percussion Department Chair at the South Shore Conservatory.

Frequently called “in-the-moment music-making,” drum circle participants sit in a circle on the ground and play drums and/or hand percussion instruments. Participants engage together to create a group rhythm and cooperate in rhythm games.

Sessions will be held outdoors, weather permitting. If the weather is not cooperating, sessions will be held indoors, in the Phoenix Gallery.
