On the first Friday of the month, Plymouth Bay Cultural District art galleries, museums, cultural establishments, shops and restaurants will feature artwork, along with music, poetry readings, and/or art demonstrations. Doors will be open from 5pm-8pm. All are free to the public.
There will again be an Art Walk Map available around town to guide the public to establishments participating. The familiar blue FFP poster will be posted at participating FFP locations and other locations around town.
First Friday Art Walk at the Howland House, 33 Sandwich Street – 5pm-8pm – Learn some local history, view some local artist’s work. Anthony Visco, Denise LeBlanc, Heidi Mayo, Steward Adams, Ed Nute, Doug Gray and Peter Arenstam.
First Friday at the Hedge House, 126 Water Street – As part of First Fridays Plymouth, an initiative highlighting arts and culture in the Plymouth Bay Cultural District, the Hedge House Museum at 126 Water Street will be open for Free mini tours from 5 to 8pm.
First Friday at Plymouth Center for the Arts, 11 North Street – 5pm-8pm – The popular Celtic Circle returns performing your favorite Irish tunes. Demonstration by Elsie Goldstein. Three exhibits on display. The Artisan Shop will be open and small bites and wine will be offered.
