Christmas Tree Lighting in Historic Plymouth. Click here to learn more.
On the First Friday of the month May through October, rain or shine, the artists, galleries, shops and showrooms of the Plymouth Bay Cultural District open their doors to the public for an evening of art, culture and inspiration.
Galleries, museums, shops and restaurants will host exhibitions and other activities for people to enjoy as the walk through the Plymouth Bay Cultural District, which covers the waterfront and downtown areas. A handy online map will guide art aficionados so they experience all the culture Plymouth has to offer.
The Hedge House will be open for free mini tours during First Fridays Plymouth. On October 1 from 5pm-8pm we will be exploring 19th-century mourning practices with a special exhibit of memorial artifacts. Entry into the Hedge House for this special opening will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the small size of the rooms, visitors may be asked to wait outside until space is available for them to enter. Thank you in advance for your patience! Non-vaccinated guests are advised to wear masks.
