Introduction to Wood Spoon Carving – Two Day Workshop (Brockton)

Learn about the world of green woodworking, a branch of woodcraft that focuses on the advantages of using fresh wood over dry wood, through this introductory Spoon Carving Workshop.
In this Two-day Workshop (June 3 & 4), students will learn about wood selection and grain orientation, the qualities of both wet and dry wood, and how to safely use simple hand tools to produce objects of enduring beauty and usefulness. Discover the immersive and even meditative practice of carving.
