Let It Grow: Seed Starters for Kids (Plymouth)

With gardening season right around the corner, we’re going to get some seeds started! Used coffee pods can be cleaned and reused to make a really great seed starter cell; the size is just right and the hole in the bottom allows for drainage.

We’ll be scooping potting soil into recycled, cleaned-out coffee pods, planting seeds, and then watering them – so wear clothes that you don’t mind potentially getting dirty. We’ll have a variety of flower and vegetable seeds to choose from that kids can plant and take home afterwards.
