Old Ordinary Candlelight Tours

November 5, 6, 12 & 13th  – 6:30, 7:00 & 7:30pm each night.

What was life like during cold and dark New England winters? Come find out at our popular Candlelight Tours of Old Ordinary. The 45-minute tours address heat, lighting, domestic chores, and family life in an environment very different from what we enjoy today. The Old Ordinary is unheated and the tour is lit using (battery operated) candles. Guests should wear coats and prepare to be transported back in time! Masks required inside the Museum. Refreshments at end of tour. Grab your friends and plan a special night in downtown Hingham.
