Monday – Mindful Movement with Leslie Romano – 10:15am – 11:15am $5 per person – A 45-minute program utilizing movements from Tai Chi, Pilates and basic barre (with NO IMPACT) to improve your posture, increase your flexibility and range of motion, strengthen your core and improve your balance.
Tuesday – Core and More with Laura B – 9:30am to 10:30am $8 per person – A full body work-out based on the principles of Ballet, Pilates and Yoga. You will tone and tighten, lengthen and strengthen, in addition to enhancing muscle endurance and core stability. Please bring a mat, towel, water bottle and wear comfortable shoes.
Wednesday – Heart & Hand with Janet Enos – 10:30am – 11:30am $7 per person – This class incorporates movement, strength and balance training to upbeat music. All exercises can be modified for ANY physical limitations. BYO (bring your own) weights which are an integral part of the workout but are optional.
Thursday – Tai Chi Chuan with Fran Aldrich – 9am – 10am $5 per person – This Chinese martial art form is a series of movements done at your own speed.
Thursday – Big with Janet 11:30am – 12:30pm $10 per person – Big Exercise addresses all symptoms and weakness that comes from being diagnosed with Parkinson’s, early onset Alzheimer’s and other neurological disorders. This workout addresses mobility, balance and coordination, strength and flexibility, brain tracking and thought processing, softening speech and clarity. Enjoy toe tapping music.
Registration is required for all classes. Register early as only 10 people per class allowed. Please call Cynthia Snow at 508-830-4230 ext. 100 to register after 2:30 pm. Everyone MUST wear a mask for the entire class. We will allow for mask breaks and everyone will be at least 6 feet apart. The fees must be exact cash. If you will be using weights for your class, you will bring your own. There will be no sharing of any kind and CAL will not be providing equipment. Bring water, but remember there is no bathroom. If inclement weather, classes may be cancelled.
