Owl Prowl (Middleborough)

The Homestead will offer an OWL PROWL evening. Come and learn a bit about these mysterious raptors of the night. We will start the evening indoors, learning about what makes these animals so supremely adapted to “the night life.” We will then head outside to see if we can hear and spot some local owls.

Be sure to bring your phones, since this program will include a brief tutorial on using the Cornell Labs MerlinID app so we can register our sightings.

While it is not guaranteed we will find any owls, we want to remind all kiddos AND adults that we need to be quiet in order to have the best chance of hearing and seeing these shy birds.

Pre-Registration is required. Sign up for Families at 5:30pm or for Adults Only at 7pm.
