On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, Plimoth Patuxet Museums, with support from our community business partner Tech-Etch, will offer free museum admission for all active members of the military, veterans and their families. This applies to members of any branch of the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves.
Free entry to Plimoth Patuxet, including Mayflower II, the historic Patuxet Wampanoag Homesite, and the 17th-Century English Village, will be provided with valid Military or Veterans ID and also for one additional adult and up to four children 12 years old or younger. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“We are proud to partner with Plimoth Patuxet Museums to honor and celebrate the service of our Nation’s veterans,” said Tech-Etch CEO Rich Cammarano. “As we give thanks, we hope that veterans and their families have some time to enjoy a visit to one of America’s great living history museums in this 400th commemoration year.”
“During this season of gratitude, we are delighted to show our appreciation to those who have served our country so bravely,” said Rob Kluin, Plimoth Patuxet’s Director of Marketing. “We thank Tech-Etch for their leadership and commitment to the South Shore community, which makes this special day possible.”
Masks or face coverings are required for adults and children over the age of five, per order of Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
