August 15-Across the Americas is a multicultural, multilingual music program that includes traditional folk musical styles from Canada, the United States and Latin America performed on a variety of stringed, wind and percussion folk instruments. Songs in Spanish, French, Polish and other languages may be included. The audience will be invited to sing, dance, and play Latin percussion instruments. All ages welcome.
NOTE: This event has been developed with a donation from the Jen Kane Scholarship and Charitable Trust which provides scholarships, endowments and donations to charitable foundations in memory of Jen Kane, a Plymouth native who lost her life in the World Trade Center on September 11th.
Enjoy a different genre of music every week, Mondays at 6:30pm on the Plymouth Library’s front lawn. From pop to country to sea shanties, there’s something for everyone! Bring your own chair or blanket to sit outside. If the weather is poor, the concert will take place inside the library.
