Join Alan Stahl, Curator of Numismatics at Princeton University, for an online talk on Friday, January 27 at noon, about a silver sixpence bearing the date 1652, found at John and Priscilla Alden’s 17th-century homesite during an archaeological dig in 1960. Dr. Stahl will also discuss the context of coinage and other types of money circulating in the Massachusetts colony.
