Trail Exploration and Dedication Along the Indian Head River (Hanover)

Explore a new trail and a viewing platform along the Indian Head River with the Indian Head River Trail Coalition. The new trail runs along the Hanover side of the Indian Head River and connects Luddam’s Ford Park to the Indian Head River boat ramp.  The new viewing platform extends off of existing Iron Mine Brook trails and overlooks the Indian Head River downstream. These projects were sponsored by the town of Hanover Open Space Committee, Plymouth County, and Wildlands Trust. A walk along the new trail to the viewing platform will take place and the new section of trail will be dedicated to the Mattakeeset Tribe by tribal Chief Larry Fischer. The Indian Head River Trail Coalition includes the towns of Hanover, Hanson and Pembroke, Wildlands Trust, Plymouth County and the NSRWA. The event is free but you must REGISTER HERE.
