JFK Hyannis Museum

Guided, accessible walks for the general public in the village of Hyannis using the visual images and symbols used in public works of art and historic sites to learn of our diverse history. Over the course of the one-mile walk, we discover stories of immigration, the role of women in history, the Bill of Rights today, the Native American story, our environment, the local economy, and many aspects of social identity.  The walk is a way to learn and help us navigate current social justice issues.

$25 includes museum admission – $15 walk-only – Free – children 6 and under – Inquire about group rates

Accessibility – The walk script, and questions posed by the guide are available in a written handout. The route includes ADA compliant sidewalks, street crossings, stops for rest in shade or air-conditioned buildings. Venues with second floor amenities have elevators. Restroom/toilet facilities are available.

Researched and curated by Margaret (Peggy) Jablonski, Ph.D. an inspiring, accomplished leader with twenty-five years of experience as a senior executive in education.
