Long-time volunteer and instructor, Mary Ann Cunningham will lead two Saturday sessions of wreath making workshops using freshly cut winter greens harvested at Soule. Director Kelly MacDonald Weeks will be leading the chicken workshop simultaneously in the classroom as well as the Tuesday evening workshops. In just 1.5 hours, you’ll transform a selection of natural materials into a stunning, handcrafted wreath that will brighten up any space. Whether you’re new to crafting or a seasoned DIY enthusiast, this workshop is designed to be fun and accessible. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each step, from choosing your materials to assembling your wreath. The workshop includes fresh cut greens, ribbon, wire, wreath backs and other additional decorations. Attendees are encouraged to bring special decorations they’d like to add. Space is extremely limited for these workshops, so grab your spot while they’re still available.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ only. Please note: we ask that you select your wreath and cannot allow for switching styles once you’ve registered. There is a lot of prep that goes into the making of these wreaths and last minute switching just isn’t possible. If you need to change your wreath choice, please notify us at least one week in advance – changes can only be made IF there are openings in the style you want to switch to.
