Have you ever wanted to audition for an A.C.T. Production? Have a fear of auditioning? Don’t know what to prepare? This workshop is designed to teach young theatre artists the skills needed to successfully audition for theatrical productions. We will cover song preparation, improvisation exercises to help with character development, dance basics, theatre etiquette, cold readings, with a mock audition to conclude the class. This is a great opportunity to get feedback and insight into the art of auditioning. Students don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time to participate in this class! Just bring your amazing self and let’s have some fun! (This is a one-time event, not a weekly recurring semester class). Ages 8-12.
