The richly appointed lobby welcomes guests as they enter the inn, a grandfather clock ticks quietly and the warm glow of a fire invites guests to relax and enjoy. A cozy Gathering Room offers an intimate place for reading, game playing or just good conversation. Each of the 48 guest rooms is individually appointed and many feature canopy or four-poster beds and oversized whirlpool baths.
The Fessenden House, a restored Sea Captain’s home, offers private two-room suites. Exquisitely manicured gardens, refreshing outdoor pool and unique gift shop all add to this truly magnificent experience. Nearby activities include museums, village shopping, beaches, golf, tennis and health club.
