Mayflower Society House

NOTE: The Mayflower Society House will not be open for tours during the 2025 season due to historical restorations. Please still plan to visit the property, as our Colonial Revival Garden will be open.

Located across the street and around the corner from Plymouth Rock, in the heart of this quaint village’s historic district. The grounds host the historic eighteenth century dwelling built by Edward Winslow. Behind this stately mansion are the offices and library of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.

The property overlooks a snug harbor where a reproduction of the blessed ship, Mayflower, is moored. Cole’s Hill, the final resting place of many of the Pilgrims, may also be seen. Stop by to take a guided tour of the House, explore the beautiful garden, and visit our library.

Due to the nature of the historic architecture, The Mayflower Society House is not wheelchair accessible. The Mayflower Society Research Library and the Colonial Revival Gardens are wheelchair accessible. There is a handicap accessible restroom on site.

The Mayflower Society House will be open for “Plymouth First Fridays,” every first Friday of the month of June, July, August, September and October, from 5-8pm.

The Research Center Hours – Monday & Wednesday 10am-12pm and Friday 12pm-2pm
