Plymouth 400 - See Plymouth Massachusetts

Plymouth 400

The legacy of the Pilgrims spans four Nations. The shared history with England, where the Pilgrims began their lives, to the Netherlands where they sought refuge for half a generation, to Wampanoag territory where they landed, and encountered Native people who were integral to their survival. Through an unlikely series of events the Pilgrims established a successful community in what would become The United States of America.

In telling the historically accurate and culturally inclusive history, Plymouth 400 has initiated a partnership with Mayflower 400 in the UK, Leiden 2020 in the Netherlands, and Wampanoag Nation, encompassing the federally recognized tribes of Aquinnah and Mashpee, to enhance the understanding of people, places and motivations that culminated in America’s founding story.
