April 18, 2023
The tourism promotion organization for the town and county of Plymouth will use a recent $1 million grant to promote activities in both Plymouth and Bristol counties in the off-season months from November to the end of April, better known in the tourism biz as the “shoulder season.”
“See Plymouth is excited to work together with Bristol County to explore all the tourism venues open during the off-season,” See Plymouth Director and CEO Lea Filson said during an April 3 event announcing the grant at Plymouth Town Hall.
See Plymouth plans to use part of the money to provide national promotion of America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration and activities at Plimoth Patuxet Museums.
