Join us at the Bradford House Museum for a lively book discussion of March by Pulitzer Prize winning author Geraldine Brooks. Inspired by the absent father in Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, March imagines the wartime experiences of Mr. March as he served as Union chaplain during the Civil War. Led by Archivist & Historian Carolyn Ravenscroft, the discussion will explore the novel’s historical backdrop and connections to Duxbury’s own Civil War story and ties to Concord’s Transcendentalists. Pre-registration is required.
