First Fridays (Plymouth)

On the First Friday of every month beginning May 2 through October 3 from 5pm-8pm (excluding July 4-July 11 instead), the artists, galleries, shops and showrooms of the Plymouth Bay Cultural District open their doors to the public for an evening of art, culture and inspiration.

Tour the Historic Hedge House on 126 Water Street from 5-8pm. Tour this elegant 19th-century mansion and learn about the Plymouth shipping merchants and their families who lived in the Hedge House during the early years of American mercantile prosperity. Free Admission.

The Mayflower Society House on 18 Winslow Street will be open for “Plymouth First Fridays,” every first Friday of the month of June, July, August, September and October, from 5-8pm. Free Admission.

Plymouth Center for the Arts at 11 North Street is proud to partake in First Fridays Plymouth, a series which celebrates the vibrant arts and culture scene of downtown Plymouth. Join us on the First Friday of each month, May thru October, 5-8pm. On September 5 there will be Demos by Artists Susan Overstreet and Jory Mason, and the popular band Raspberry Jam performing on the front yard. Learn about the many educational opportunities we offer! The Artisan Shop will be open, complimentary light refreshments, and wine for purchase.
