Intro to Rock Collecting (Plymouth)

Join us for an engaging and hands-on presentation on how to start your own rock and mineral collection! In response to popular interest, this talk will introduce the basics of rock collecting, from identifying and sourcing specimens to tips on field collecting and purchasing minerals responsibly.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a rock or mineral from home for a fun and informal “show and tell.” The presenter will also bring a selection of local (and, by request, exotic) specimens to examine up close! Fehlow Meetng Room. Registration is required. There are 49 seats available.
