Screening Event: The American Revolution: A Film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt – The Hingham Historical Society invites you to a free preview screening and community discussion of The American Revolution, the highly anticipated new PBS documentary series from award-winning filmmakers Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt.

This special event offers a 46-minute sneak peek of the twelve hour series before it premieres on PBS on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 8pm. Representatives from the Hingham Historical Society, the Town of Hingham, Hingham Public Schools, and Revolution 250 will participate in each screening to welcome guests and moderate a Q&A and community discussion following the film.
