Now that school has started and the kids and grandkids are back to their busy routines, it’s an ideal time to plan a trip to the historic and seaside town of Plymouth to explore the downtown area, do some shopping, and view the scenic harbor and historic landmarks that make our region so special.

If you are planning a visit to Plymouth, take advantage of the limited-time offer of free rides to and from the Kingston Commuter Rail Station and downtown Plymouth through Ride Circuit. This special offering runs Thursdays through Sundays, from August 7th through mid-October and is a great opportunity for visitors to explore Plymouth’s historic downtown landmarks, shop and enjoy some of the town’s dining options.

What is Ride Circuit?

Ride Circuit is an electric vehicle program that provides free shuttle service to visitors, primarily in the downtown and waterfront areas, as well as from the Kingston Station MBTA station to downtown Plymouth. It’s a great option for visitors traveling from Boston or beyond who want to avoid traffic while still enjoying all that Plymouth has to offer.

Flag down a Ride Circuit driver who can conveniently shuttle you between the Kingston Commuter Rail Station and the Waterfront Visitor Center in downtown Plymouth. For those with limited mobility, it’s a perfect way to see the sights, explore the shops, and enjoy the local cuisine without worrying about overexertion from walking.

How Ride Circuit Works

Riders can request a free ride around downtown or via a shuttle from the Kingston Station by either waving down one of our drivers or by downloading the Ride Circuit app on your smartphone.
